Wathcing the news today and they quoted a Kiplingers article that offered some questions to ask your financial planner during these turbulent times. Those questions were:

  • How have your investments performed?

  • How do your investments meet time horizons?

  • What adjustments have been made due to the turbulent economy?

  • How and when will the planner provided feedback and updates?

These are great questions to ask your financial planner - the kind of questions I love when my clients ask them of me. Given the turbulent markets, it is important to have a strategic plan. The longer the time frame until you need the cash, the less change you need to make to a well balanced portfolio. I find that many people panic and make changes they do not need to make.

Glad I found this site. Excellent content here - keep up the good work!
